New round of dynaMENT mentoring applications

The new round of applications for the dynaMENT Mentoring for Women in Natural Sciences program is open. The program is aimed at women in the field of natural sciences who aspire to a career in scientific research. The program consists of two program lines: dynaMENT advanced and dynaMENT doctorate, ensuring tailored support according to the individual's career stage.
dynaMENT advanced is aimed at female* junior professors, (junior) research group leaders and postdoctoral researchers of the project partners. Over a period of 24 months, the program offers confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced international mentor to support participants in planning their individual scientific careers. In addition, dynaMENT advanced offers science-oriented career seminars, individual coaching and networking opportunities to further enhance career planning and development.
The dynaMENT doctoral program is specifically tailored to the needs of the project partners' female* doctoral researchers. This program line offers confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced mentor over a 12-month period to help researchers plan their individual scientific careers. In addition to the training sessions, the program offers career events in English.
dynaMENT is a joint project of DESY and the MIN Faculty of Universität Hamburg, supported by the two excellence clusters "CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter" and "Quantum Universe". PhD students* from the European XFEL, the Leibniz Institute for Virology (LIV), the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and the Bernhard-Nocht-Institute are also invited to apply.
