School Programs

To become a scientist – that’s what many boys and girls dream about. However, once they get older, their enthusiasm often vanishes. This is when we interfere: Our school programs combine top research with an intensive training of young people. Thus, we want to spark an interest for the fascinating possibilities of imaging physical and chemical processes.

• Light & Schools cooperates successfully with numerous schools in Hamburg. The program offers experimental courses that enable young people to discover the latest laser technology, as well as fascinating research projects outside the classroom.
• Molecules & Schools tries to replenish chemistry and biology lessons taught at high schools with high quality offers close to research.
• Shoot my movie. In the ultra-creative video project on ultra-fast research, girls aged 12 to 15 interview women scientists from the Cluster and produce a video under professional guidance. The three-day workshop is in German.
