The call for applications for a new round of dynaMENT Mentoring for Women in Natural Sciences is now open. The program is designed for women in natural sciences, planning to pursue a career in science. The division into the dynaMENT advanced and dynaMENT doctorate program lines ensures that support given fits exactly to the respective career stage.
dynaMENT advanced
dynaMENT advanced is aimed at female junior professors, (junior) research group leaders and postdoctoral researchers of the project partners. The program line offers confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced international mentor over a period of 24 months and supports the researchers to plan their individual career in science. In addition, dynaMENT advanced supports the participants in the further planning and development of their careers through scientifically oriented career seminars, individual coaching and networking offers. Applications can be submitted until 2 July 2020.
dynaMENT doctorate
The dynaMENT doctorate program is tailored to the specific needs of the female doctoral researchers of the project partners. The program line offers confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced mentor over a period of 12 months and supports the researchers to plan their individual career in science. In addition, the program offers trainings and career events in English and helps to build a career network in science. Applications can be submitted until 2 July 2020.
Cooperative project
dynaMENT is a cooperative project of DESY and the MIN faculty of Universität Hamburg, supported by the two clusters of excellence “CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter” and “Quantum Universe”. Female researchers of the European XFEL, the Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology (HPI), the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, the Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and the Bernhard-Nocht-Institute for Tropical Medicine are also encouraged to apply.
