Since April, the MIN Faculty has been publishing an up-to-date overview of ongoing professorial search procedures on the Office of the Dean’s website. The aim is to ensure greater transparency of the current procedures.
The Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences offers a new service: the status of all ongoing search procedures for professorships and junior professorships is published and documented on the website.
The overview, which contains among others information on the application deadline, the appointment presentations, and the granting and acceptance of calls, addresses applicants, commission members, and all interested parties. The aim is to ensure greater transparency of the status of the procedures, which last several months.
The overview, which is available in German and English, also shows that there are currently almost 30 ongoing procedures at the faculty. The overview was created by the Professorial Appointments Office of the Office of the Dean, which also updates the list continuously. Text: MIN (German version)
