Call for applications: dynaMENT mentoring enters the fifth round

The call for applications for the 5th round of dynaMENT Mentoring for Women in Natural Sciences is now open. The program has two lines: female junior professors, (junior) research group leaders and postdoctoral researchers of the participating institutions can apply for dynaMENT advanced, dynaMENT doctorate is the program for female doctoral researchers.

dynaMENT is a cooperative project of DESY and the MIN faculty of Universität Hamburg, supported by the two clusters of excellence “CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter” and “Quantum Universe”. Female researchers of European XFEL, Heinrich Pette Institute, Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology, Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf and Bernhard-Nocht-Institute for Tropical Medicine are also encouraged to apply.

dynaMENT advanced

The dynaMENT advanced program is designed for women in natural sciences, planning to pursue a career in science. It offers confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced international mentor over a period of 24 months and supports the researchers to plan their individual career in science. In addition, dynaMENT advancedsupports the participants in the further planning and development of their careers through scientifically oriented career seminars, individual coaching and networking offers. Applications can be submitted until 17 July 2020.

dynaMENT doctorate

The dynaMENT doctorate program is designed for women in natural sciences, planning to pursue a career in science. It offers confidential one-to-one sessions with an experienced mentor over a period of 12 months and supports the researchers to plan their individual career in science. In addition, the program offers trainings and career events in English and helps to build a career network in science. Applications can be submitted until 3 July 2020.
