9th grade girls are regular visitors at Universität Hamburg’s chemistry school lab „Molecules & Schools“, where they spend a whole day researching nano science. For example, they create a „chemical sunset“ and an artificial lotus effect. The school lab wants to give insight into the complex world of chemistry, arouse the girls' interest in natural sciences, and foster their enthusiasm for experimenting. We recently spent a day with the students.
