"Science on Tap" satisfies your thirst for knowledge

Death at spider sex? The silence of the liver? „Science on Tap" or "Wissen vom Fass" as it is called in German makes the wide-screen imagination running at full speed. On Thursday, 25. April 2019, Hamburg's scientists will again leave their labs and lecture halls to offer entertaining insights into science. Starting at 8 p.m., the scientists will talk in more than 50 bars and pubs about recent projects and together with the audience dive into the world of science.

„Wissen vom Fass“ is organized by DESY and Universität Hamburg together with the clusters of excellence „Quantum Universe“ and „CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter“ as well as PIER, the strategic partnership of Universität Hamburg and DESY. „Wissen vom Fass“ takes place each year in spring.
